Von Matthews and Proclaim have been singing together for several years and are based in the Chicago area. Consisting primarily of family and long time friends, this group has produced their first album of 10 great songs. While the music is more contemporary in song style, there are also elements of traditional gospel. The harmony is tight and the music transitions nicely. Most importantly, there is a real focus lyrically on the gospel message, worship, and encouragement to the listener. The songs really speak to the heart. The group has ministered at many churches and events both in and out of Illinois. This is a group to watch as their next release is scheduled for 2006.
